This piece was inspired by a conversation with a friend. It's the sensation of "those who want to be your friend, but whenever you express that something hurts, they come across like you're in the wrong instead of whoever is hurting you being the one in the wrong". It's a really tiring feeling. Maintaining friendships like that is very hard. It's difficult when it's mostly because they're naive about the situation and what it's like for you, even as it happens before their eyes. It's the sensation of being dragged towards a [bad place] by countless others, and then someone else directly looking you in the eyes and asking, "why are you going that way? don't you know that's a bad direction?"
