This is a piece about trying to talk about ways that you get hurt by other people's actions. Even when you're trying to suffer in silence, somehow, people still find ways to make it your fault that they have to know it exists at all. I've had two conversations now about how I shouldn't post these pieces because they might make someone else uncomfortable, even though the entire point is to illustrate how uncomfortable it is. It's a piece about not knowing what to say when someone you care about might be hurt by someone else if you try to explain yourself. It's also about hoping that someone will see what everyone else is trying to ignore.
